A Copywriters Workshop with Patrick Collister
This was a fantastic, full-day’s workshop for copywriters given by advertising guru Patrick Collister at the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, November 2010. Lizzie Kinross, Senior Copywriter at digital advertising agency ICAN, also spoke at the event, giving a short introduction to copywriting for Social Media.

Lizzie Kinross: “After trying to find some inspiring training to go to as a copywriter,I decided to host my own workshop. I invited over an inspirational UK speaker, Patrick Collister and promoted the event across Irish adland with the help of ICAD who endorsed the event.
The day was a great success; Patrick gave us loads of inspirational examples, tools and ideas for creating great copy, and I presented for an hour on copywriting for social media. We we had about 25 attendees and lots of great ideas for the Dublin Simon community, who provided a live charity brief for us to work on during the day.”
